USAF MSC Association, Inc.
MSC History
Member Questionnaire
The USAF MSC Association, Inc. is currently in the process of compiling the first comprehensive history of the Air Force Medical Service Corps. MSC officers and others who support our corps have long recognized the need for such a history. Our Board of Directors now feels that the Association’s growing numbers justify a strong commitment to documenting the historical development of our corps. This history seeks to highlight and preserve examples of major players, events, and challenges that mark our professional evolution.
We believe that our officers who have served and met the challenges with which we all are familiar are the best source of relevant historical information. For this reason, I want to encourage you to contribute to our story. While your completion of this questionnaire will be most helpful, please feel free to provide any information you feel is important to the project.
Dr. Jimmy Sanders, one of our members (Lt. Colonel, MSC, Ret.) of Montgomery, AL is our lead researcher for this project. Jimmy is now a tenured professor at Troy State University and will have some of his graduate students helping him with this project. Jimmy, or one of his assistants, will be happy to contact you directly if you need assistance in any way in responding to this call for information. His staff has the capability to record your thoughts if you would prefer to tell your story, rather than write. Contact Jimmy at:
